November is traditionally the start of the stormy season in the west of Ireland (this doesn't mean however that storms can't hit at other times of the year) and this particular storm brought one of the biggest swells ever recorded. The cliffs here are well over 30 meters in height and were dwarfed by the waves that rolled in.
